BIS OHARE are celebrating 1,000,000 worked hours without a reportable injury to their staff.

Managing Director, Duncan Hall, has called the 1,000,000 hours a tremendous achievement which reflects an ongoing reduction in severity of minor injuries, and has called for a committed effort to work towards the next 1,000.000.

This has been achieved during a period of intensive work activity on petrochemical plant maintenance and projects, and coincides with a major safety initiative encouraging staff to be 'Safely Engaged'.  The Safely Engaged programme has been running since the start of 2008, and challenges individual employees to identify hazards, manage risks and to take ownership for their own safety.

The next 1,000,000 challenge is now underway, and can be achieved with the commitment of everyone in the business and the support of our customers.
