The appointments are:

 

Industrial Services Director – Mike Winchester

 

Project Services Director – Simon Hicks

 

These appointments complete the Board of BIS Industrial Services with the following responsibilities:

 

Simon has a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Masters in Project Management. His career started at WEFCO, a tank and steel fabricator, prior to moving onto European Environmental Systems as Commercial Contracts Director. As EES, Simon was also Director responsible for mechanical projects. After a short time out of engineering as Director of a start-up distribution company, Simon joined Cape as Operations Director for their onshore business prior to joining BIS Salamis Ltd in May 2009

 

Mike is a Chartered Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Management, Leadership and Organisation. He started his managerial career at Simon Storage moving through the organisation to be the Senior Terminal Engineer with codal and fiscal responsibility. Mike moved to Jacobs Engineering as Operations Manager with responsibility for overhauls, projects and tanks prior to joining BIS O’Hare in January 2009.
