Successful Relationship Secures New Three Year Contract with Innospec

BIS Industrial Services is delighted to announce our latest contract award from Innospec. The contract, awarded on 15th August after a rigorous tendering process, involves a full range of maintenance services at the Ellesmere Port and Widnes sites.

This contract win is further evidence of the excellent relationship already established with Innospec during the previous contract and the insight offered by BIS-IS throughout the tendering process.

The contract, managed by Gary Caldwell will keep up to 60 multi skilled employees busy for at least the next three years.

Explaining the contract requirements Gary commented; “We have worked with Innospec to create a specific maintenance project plan. The services include Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering as well as Scaffolding, Insulation and Painting. Further services such as asbestos removal will also be provided when required.

Andy Nicholls, (West Region General Manager) added. “We are always considering ways to improve the services offered to customers. A specific example for Innospec has been the introduction of Layer scaffolding.  This improves cost effectiveness because it is quicker to assemble and de-assemble.” 

The contract started on the 29th September and Gary is currently working with Project Managers at Innospec to finalise plans for the next project phase.
