BIS Industrial Services Appoints New General Manager of Central & Eastern Business Region

BIS Industrial Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Duncan Peel to the position of General Manager for the Central & Eastern Region.

Duncan takes over the role from John Hanson who has now been appointed as BIS-IS UK TAR’S and Overhauls Manager. Duncan will assume full responsibility for the Management and Delivery of the business within the region, reporting to Phill Maurer, UK Operations Director.

Commenting on the appointment Phill Maurer said “Duncan has joined us from Huntsman Petrochemicals and has extensive experience of the industry in senior roles with expertise in combined service maintenance and turnaround arenas having worked both within the contracting and customer environment. Duncan has the experience and skills to further develop and enhance the BIS-IS business in the region.” 

Duncan stated, “I am delighted to be joining BIS-IS at these exciting times for both the business and the region and I am very much looking forward to the challenges ahead, along with working with my new colleagues throughout the UK.”
