BIS Industrial Services Secures a 5 Year Combined Services Contract with BP Saltend Chemicals

We are delighted to confirm that BP Saltend Chemicals Park, Hull has awarded BIS Industrial Services (BIS-IS) a five year Combined Services Contract, delivering a range of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, (MEI) and scaffolding, insulation and painting, (SIP) services across a number of assets on the Saltend Chemicals Park.

The contract will provide support for planned and unplanned maintenance activities, projects and turnarounds and BIS-IS will become the main provider of industrial services across the entire facility.

The contract is scheduled to start on 1st May 2012 and BIS-IS will see approximately 260 personnel transfer from the incumbent contractor through the TUPE process.  This extremely important contract will be led by David Wright, Operations Manager, who brings 25 years of industry experience to the role.
