BIS Industrial Services Secures Long Term Contract with BP
BIS Industrial Services Ltd has secured its largest single supply contract with oil and gas operator BP, worth £100 million over the five year contract term.

Under the terms of the five year contract, BIS will provide a full range of engineering design and installation services covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation (MEI) civil, scaffold, insulation and painting (SIP) skills to BP sites in Falkirk (Forties Pipeline System terminals) and Teesside (CATS terminal) plus the provision of scaffold, insulation and painting services at the Sullom Voe terminal in Shetland. The services will be delivered for projects, maintenance and turnaround activities.
BIS and BP will be working together to deliver significant improvements in safety, productivity and technical innovation for the provision of engineering services on all three sites. BIS will use established tools and processes to identify areas of waste and efficiency losses in the existing work execution models and focus management interventions to lower costs and reduce non-productive time across all service interfaces.
