Team BIS Raises Money for Cancer Research UK

Well done to Team BIS who successfully completed the Race for Life at Haydock Park on Sunday 25th July in aid of Cancer Research UK. 

The whole team completed the 5k course in excellent times and fun was had by all on a perfect day for the race. Smiles were clearly visible as the team sat round congratulating each other whilst eating biscuits and drinking water! 

Team BIS would appreciate any sponsorship or donations towards their fundraising target of £500, donations to date amount to just over £300 which is excellent progress.

All donations will be gratefully received by Cancer Research UK the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Their groundbreaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has saved millions of lives with survival rates doubling in the last 30 years.

This is the second year a team from BIS Industrial Services has entered Race for Life and the intention is to enter a team each year.  If you’re female and interested in taking part next year please let one of the team know.
